The stock rims were in good shape so before damaging them I decided to install new Black heavy duty ones. At least when I sell the bike the rims will look good.
I did the front first, removed the old rim, reused the stock spokes, $170 for new ones back and front...yikes these will do.
I taped them up so it was real easy to get them to line up with the new holes.
The new rims, Black anodized...nice.
After about an hour or so, this is what the front wheel now looks like, maybe I should get a job as a wheel builder?.
I could only get it to within a 64th" running true but will need to bed the spokes in anyways, now onto the rear.
