The Wheels.
The chassis
Ready to
ride...............
At this point
the bike is back together and all I need to do is ride it and
get the clutch and everything setup.
The weather
down here in Florida has been wet so I'm not sure if I will get
chance this weekend to test it.
Here is a
picture, ready for practice when the weather dries up.

The
Florida trail riders
(FTR)
hare scramble series starts in a months time so its time
for me to get serious, in mind, body and wallet.
My last and only hare
scramble gave me a taste for something I didn't think I would like,
riding
flat out for about 2hrs trying to overtake everyone in front of
me.
Ok I admit my first
try (win) last April
(see here) was
not that hard to do in the "c" class.
I
was in the super senior "C" class and maybe I should have ridden
"B". But I had to start somewhere...
Obviously the "A" riders
know there stuff, be they seasoned vets or super fast teenagers they know how to
ride....fast.
So that that leaves me
eyeing up the competition in the "B" class, and I have a feeling it wont be as
easy.
My goal, is to be
consistently fast enough to make it to the "A" class by the end of the season
which comes to an end sometime next year.
I can already ride for 2
hours without getting tired so I just need to get on the pace.
And how
do I get on the pace? by racing as many of the races as my
wallet will allow.
Sponsors
would be nice, but nobody would support a 48year old Vet, even a
good one.
But you
wait, come next year they will be beating down my door...
