Top End Rebuild Honda CR250
I`m Now number 16A
I decided it was time to replace the top end on CR250.
16 races is a long time to go without checking the piston.
Stripped and ready
Inside the engine looks pretty good
After I tore down the top end everything looked in good shape ,the piston was a little burnt but that was just worn rings, crown was nice and no wear anywhere
on the piston or in the cylinder...cool
I should get delivery tomorrow of a Wiseco Pro-Lite piston, bearing and Cometic gasket kit to get the top end back on by nightfall.
I put the new Wiseco Pro-Lite piston in, compression test on the old one showed 100psi, with the new one fitted its up over 150psi. nice!
Ready for the race this weekend at Brooksville.
